Erika Hohendorf was born and raised in the Bay Area, where as a young girl she loved spending time in gardens and flower shops—just looking at all the pretty flowers. While attending San Francisco State University she needed a part-time job and decided to apply at a floral design studio she liked, and that is where it all started.

Having worked with numerous talented designers in the San Francisco area and spending 2 1/2 years in Berlin, Germany, she gained experience and developed her own style, plus the ability to be versatile. Erika enjoys working with clients to create the look and feel of the event that they want.

McCallum Designs, named for her mother’s family, was established in 2006.
